He retired from St. Clair Rubber Company in Port Huron in 1981 after 25 years of service. He was a member of Countryside Christian Church in Yale and was a former elder. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Jr. and two sisters, Catherine and Pauline. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Karrer-Simpson-Crawford Funeral Home.
