Times Herald Port Huron, Mich. Sunday, Aug. 7, 1988 11A POLICE-COURTS Two cars collide in Grant; 3 hurt GRANT TOWNSHIP- Three people were injured in a two car accident on Jeddo Road near Gibbons Road Friday. Randy L. Wagnier, 27, of 8950 Fargo Road, Yale, Lorenzo C.

Lerma, 35, and Marquerita R. Lerma, 30, both of 128 N. Main, Carsonville, were all treated in Port Huron Hospital and released Saturday. Wagnier was driving west on Jeddo Road without headlights on when he struck Lerma's parked car from behind at about 11:55 p.m. Friday, St.

5, 1988, in Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. He was born March 27, 1921, in Mount Clemens. He lived in the area for the past 33 years. He married Roberta Rehfuss on April 15, 1951, in Port Huron. Mr.

Mamps was a machine operator at Prestolite Wire where he retired in 1983. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Debra Mamps of Port Huron; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Carl Reid of Port Huron; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Lori Mamps of Port Huron; and six grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m.

Charles B. Williams CROSWELL Charles B. Wil- liams, 77, died Friday, Aug. 5, 1988, in Yale Community Hospital after a long illness. He was born Feb.

21, 1911, in Argyle. He married Eda Sparling on April 19, 1939, in Port Huron. He was a crane operator for Mueller Brass Co. and was a member of the Mueller Quarter Century Club and of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Croswell.

He is survived by his wife; three sisters, Violet Cristick and Mrs. Melvine Richter, both of Port Huron, and Mrs. Mary Louis Kelly of Las Vegas, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Ferguson. Services will be 11 a.m.

Monday in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Croswell. The Rev. Paul Bala, visiting pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Croswell.

Ashel "Ace" Washburn PORT SANILAC Ashel "Ace" Washburn, 81, of 203 Shoreline died Friday, Aug. 5, 1988, in Autumnwood Convalescent Home after a long illness. He was born near South Lyons on Aug. 26, 1906. He married Winona Grimes, who died in 1974.

Groat, 88, formerly of Detroit and Port Sanilac, died Sunday, July 31, 1988, in Lake Havaus City, Ariz. He was born April 18, 1900, in Sanilac County. He married Florence Klockow on June 22, 1926. She died March 7, 1987. Mr.

Groat was the department head of the Detroit Public Schools, retiring in 1966. He was a real estate broker in Port Sanilac for many years. He also was a member of the Port Sanilac Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star, Scottish Rite in Bay City and the Elf Khurafeh in Saginaw. He is survived by his son, Gerald of Arizona; two grandchildren, Mrs. Chris (Cynthia) Hedenquist of Minnesota and Gordon Groat of Arizona; three sisters, Mrs.
